The Kyt Studio is a boutique visual media agency specialising in photography and video production. Founded by a fine-art trained photographer with over ten years of experience in the field, the studio operates on the belief that creative impulse should be followed by intuitive, unposed technical realisation to create visual poetry.
The Kyt Studio is a boutique studio based in Singapore. Officially established since 2015, the studio has been providing professional photography, video production services, as well as studio rental.
Helmed by photographer and founder Kee Ya Ting, an image-maker formally trained in both photography and videography, and active in both the commercial and fine art arenas, the studio takes on various projects across different fields. The studio’s foremost specialisation is in portraiture, and has created content for clients ranging from corporate agencies, small and medium enterprises, radio stations, art galleries, to indie musicians and local writers.
In recent years, the studio has forayed into commercial product and food photography, with the goal of contributing to the rising local entrepreneurship scene. Regardless of genres, by consistently crafting images with utmost artistic flair and technical care, the studio’s mission is to create images that ebb and flow, akin to visual poetry. The studio also continues to adapt and improve in its provision and photo and video services to keeps up with the latest visual trend.
The 968 square foot space located in Woodlands is also available for rental, priding itself as a minimalistic yet fully equipped studio which accommodates everyone; professionals, amateurs, students, entrepreneurs, artists, stylists. Throughout the few years of gentle observing, making genuine connections, and sharing knowledge, a serendipitously formed collective has formed. Little by little, the studio has amassed passionate talents from various fields, and frequent collaborations continue to ensue. Throughout the few years in witnessing the growth of this collective, the studio crew has also amassed valuable experience, thus furthering their own artistry, be it in lighting techniques, art direction, or photo retouching.
